Description
Politics, 1985
Color Lithograph. Hand Signed. Numbered. Framed.
Edition X/X
Peter Saul is one of the pioneers of the Pop Art movement - especially recognized for his powerful anti-War and politically focused pieces of the early Seventies and Eighties. This particular piece was done in protest of Ronald Reagan done at the outset of his second term in office. The present work is a rare proof - numbered X/X in Roman Numerals, apart from the regular edition of 25.
The present work is sold framed.
Literature: Landfall Press: Twenty-Five Years of Printmaking, Milwaukee Art Museum, 1996, page 168.
