Description
Roy Lichtenstein for Champagne Taittinger Collection Series
In 1985 Roy Lichtenstein designed this bottle for the Taittinger Collection Series. This
collection combines art and Champagne, creating special bottles that, with a special
laser-sealed casing, visually express the concept and style of the artist in question. This
bottle refers to Roy Lichtenstein’s Pop Art, taking inspiration from comic books and
advertising, having prints of bubbles and dots. In this way the design gives the bottle a
parody value, making fun of social norms.
