Description
“Bruce Lee” by Russell Young, a British Pop artist best known for his large-scale silk screen paintings of cultural icons. In this captivating screenprint of the iconic martial artist and actor, Young’s signature Diamond Dust catches and reflects light with an almost magical effect. Rendered in a vibrant hue dubbed by the artist “Enter the Dragon Scarlet”, Young’s presentation perfectly complements the intrinsic allure and awe-inspiring nature of his subject. The unique piece measures 27 inches tall by 20 inches wide, and includes the artist’s signature.

British-born, LA-based artist Russell Young made famous Andy Warhol’s technique of “diamond dust” painting in contemporary art. Young got his big break shooting the cover photo for George Michael’s debut solo album, “Faith.” Since then, Young’s photographic expertise has shaped his practice. Young’s large-scale silk screen diamond-dust paintings focus on celebrity culture, Hollywood, and the American Dream. His works feature cultural icons spanning generations, from Marilyn Monroe to Kendrick Lamar. Russell has had numerous museum shows - most recently in Shanghai, China - and is represented by major galleries all over the world. Noteworthy collectors include Barack Obama, Elon Musk, Brad Pitt, Cam Newton, the Kardashians, Drake, Mark Zuckerberg and more.
