Disposable is a series of drawings, objects and sculptures – things for everyday use, connected with the author’s life. They enlarge, they change the object’s function – from unnecessary, unimportant waste, they become artefacts with aesthetic value. The series is questioning key notions of art – the beautiful and the ugly, the valuable and the unnecessary, etc. Discovering the aesthetic value of the used and useless things, Disposable presents the waste as object with specific emotional charge.
