Description
The photos do not do justice to this magnificent, unique oil on canvas painting by renowned abstract landscape painter Thelma Appel, a former student of Joe Tilson at St. Martin's School of Art in London, who was represented for years by Jill Kornblee (the Kornblee Gallery), and later the Fischbach Gallery in Manhattan. Appel was the co-founder of the Bennington Painter's Workshop, which featured artists like Neil Welliver, Doug Ohlson and Friedel Dzubas, and her work has been exhibited alongside Wolf Kahn's at the Bennington and Brattleboro Museums in Vermont.
This work is framed. Buyer will be delighted.
