Note: this work is being framed in a custom fit museum quality white metal frame by one of the best framers in the city. It will be finished at the end of September. Absolutely stunning unique signed painting by renowned abstract and representational painter Thelma Appel. This 2002 work was done by the artist to honor those who lost their lives in the 9-11 terrorist attacks. A similar work done by Appel from this era was acquired by the Police Museum in lower Manhattan, near Ground Zero.
