Biography
Born in 1993, Vakhtang Khelashvili is a Georgian artist who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi and with a masters in Sculpture from the same university. Taking the artistic name Ikotgy, Khelashvili is inspired by modern games like Deathstanding and Nature and Cosmos. He paints with pencils and watercolor, as well as oil on canvas. He has exhibited in multiple solo and group exhibitions worldwide including MOMA Museum Tbilisi, GH36 gallery in Berlin, Palazzo Zenobio in Venice, BDMC Gallery in Paris, Iart Gallery in Tbilisi, and Nachbarschaftszentrum Brunnentreff in Berlin. His works belong to many private collections in America, Turkey, Georgia, and Germany.
