Description
Vasa Mihich is a renowned L.A.-based artist who is known for his sleek, colorful and captivating acrylic sculptures.
This parallelogram-shaped sculpture is a prime example of how Vasa has mastered suspending translucent color in acrylic.
Shades of flamingo pink, tangerine/orange, pastel blue, and electric lime reveal themselves at different angles. Sometimes the hues appear delicate and prismatic, or may even disappear from view. While other angles bring out much deeper, more vibrant hues. This hypnotic work showcases the way in which colors interact with each other, constantly evolving how the work is viewed.
This work is ideal size. It has major presence standing, whether on a plinth, desk or mantle and equally fascinating regardless of how it is positioned or lit.
Note: although this is a vintage, and very early example of one of Vasa's sculptures, the custom white acrylic base is brand new.
