Description
Exploring the different modes of making art, Wade Guyton’s ‘X Poster’ series combines ancient ink painting with modern inkjet printers. Instead of representing flawless technology though, Guyton intentionally leaves his prints incomplete and creased, forcing viewers to reconsider the idea of “perfection” within digital contemporary art. This work is the final installment of the artist’s six-print ’X Poster’ series, and is presented folded in a cardboard sleeve.
