Description
Extremely rare mid 1960s lithograph from the Hollywood Honeymoon series, done at the legendary Tamarind Institute of Lithography. Chinese born American and European artist Walasse Ting is perhaps best known for his friendship and collaborations with Sam Francis, bringing American Pop Artists, Ab Ex artists and European COBRA artists together for lithographic collaborations. This work was acquired from the Anderson Gallery, Buffalo, New York. David K. Anderson Grandchildren's Trust. David Anderson was the son of the famed gallerist Martha Jackson, who later opened his own gallery upon his mother's retirement.
