It looks as if the elegant sitter stepped out of Downton Abbey to pose the the renowned British Impressionist painter. Wilfrid Gabriel de Glehn was a society portrait painter who was the assistant and friend of John Singer Sargent. Presented in a period wood gilt frame with scroll work
