Description

This piece by Yaacov Agam is an artist’s proof, 1 of 6 that was created by Duke Zimmerman from Zimmerman Editions in 1990, and who is the original printer of the series. The series was printed as the result of the approval by Agam of this proof. The Prismagraph for which Agam is known combines 69 colors which include 16 transparent triangular plexiglass prisms through which the kinetic effect is achieved. The prisms refract light causing the image to constantly change as the viewer moves by the piece.
