193 Gallery was created in 2018 around a genuine passion for art, encounters and discovery. Through its artistic selection and strong scenographic proposals, the gallery, housed at 24 & 21 rue Béranger in Paris, offers an opportunity to discover color and matter, and the diversity and legitimacy of the world's art scenes. Rejecting clichés, the 193 Gallery team crosses borders to meet local art scenes.
With the aim of exploring and affirming diversified identities, the curatorial team works thematically and selects both emerging and established artists. Its ambition is to present a program that encourages dialogue between the various forms of contemporary art and encounters with the public.
193 Gallery's sustained growth is supported by a constantly evolving program of conferences and other events that bring together creators, audiences and institutions. Also, in order to support creation and experimentation as closely as possible, 193 Gallery is opening a residency program in one of its Parisian spaces in January 2023.
Last but not least, the gallery is expanding its international presence. Its teams take part in some fifteen fairs a year, while developing a variety of spaces and special projects during the highlights of the contemporary art world, such as prestigious biennials.
