New York
In her first exhibition since the 2012 – 13 traveling museum retrospective “Catching the Light,” Lois Dodd (b. 1927) continues her exploration of familiar motifs from her everyday world of New York, Maine and the Delaware Water Gap with 22 oil paintings depicting subjects such as weathered New England out-buildings, bright flowering plants, views from interior windows, and nocturnal moonlighted skies – all painted plein air.
