The world’s first international art fair specialising in ink is to be launched at the HKCEC in December, featuring works from local and world-renowned galleries and artists. This innovative show brings together international art dealers and collectors to promote ink art – an important part of the language of Oriental art. As well as exhibiting ink art works, the event also seeks to highlight the collecting and research of ink art, as well as promote publications. The show, which is expected to feature around 50 exhibitors with over 4,000 sqm space, is being steered by an advisory committee comprising leading figures in the world of ink art. Together, they have created a conceptual framework based on the five pillars of Modern Painting, Abstraction Transformation, Emerging, Salon and Co-curation.
