Frieze Masters is a unique art fair which presents a contemporary perspective on historical art. The fair features leading galleries showcasing art made before the year 2000, ranging from the ancient era and old masters to the late 20th century.

The fair includes Spotlight, a section dedicated to solo artist presentations of work made in the 20th century. advised by curator Adriano Pedrosa. Visitors can also enjoy the fair’s programme of artists’ talks, in which major artists, critics and curators draw out relationships between contemporary and historical art.

Frieze Masters is housed in a bespoke temporary structure designed by Selldorf Architects which provides a contemporary, elegant environment in which ancient and modern art can be shown side by side. Located in the unique setting of Regent’s Park, London, the fair is easily accessible by public transport.
