Atrium Gallery announces a solo exhibition of new work by Adrian Luchini. A long time Atrium artist, Luchini has developed a compelling body of work, "Gravitas," featuring several large and powerful works of tar on felt. These are very expressive pieces, inspired by the basic human condition. Also included is a series of smaller, colorful, and animated drawings. As a noted architect and designer, Luchini has produced these pieces exhibiting a directness and control that connects powerfully with the viewer.

Adrian Luchini is an artist, an architect, and an academic, and is very active and successful in each of these roles. He received his architectural training at University of Cordoba, Argentina, and in the US at the University of Cincinnati and Harvard University. He is currently the Raymond E. Maritz Professor, Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Luchini has been an exhibiting artist for over 30 years showing in both South America and the US. His work is represented in many private and corporate, as well as several public collections.
