Please join us for a solo exhibition of new work by Fredrick Nelson. "From Whence We Come" will open Friday, April 22nd and run through June 4th. Nelson is a very active St. Louis artist, recognized nationally, and has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and museum placements. While known as an abstract painter, he consistently reminds viewers of his inspiration from nature, and this newest body of work has reached a heightened degree of sophistication. Absorbing the beauty and rhythm of the paintings is both an aesthetic and emotional experience. The works are gentle and dynamic at the same time as he reminds us of the human connection to nature. Nelson's ability to translate the power of nature into an image is masterfully shown throughout these new works.
