For the first time at COLOGNE FINE ART 2015: MAIRCHATEL – Art of the 20th Century, an undertaking by Beck & Eggeling, dedicated to managing the artistic estate of Herbert Beck, presents selected works by Herbert Beck and highlights of Modern and German Expressionist art.

During Cologne Fine Art 2015 (November 18 – 22 November) MAIRCHATEL presents a synopsis of works by Herbert Beck. In addition to large-format watercolours and miniatures, a selection of early paintings will be on display.

The expressive and intensely coloured works by Herbert Beck are placed in dialogue with highlights of Modern Art, as exquisite ceramic works by Pablo Picasso, drawings by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, an important painting by Paula Modersohn-Becker and the deluxe version of the illustrated by Marc Chagall’s book-edition of "Daphnis and Chloe" (1961).
