Dear friends of art,
we are pleased to announce the exhibition "Wolfgang Bühler - sixty-six"! Celebrating his 66th birthday we show current works of the artist, who oscillates in his pictorial expression between reality and abstraction.

Wolfgang Bühler creates with his painterly glaze technique a pictorial world of sublimity. The depicted mountain landscapes with their angular and steep rock faces, which disappear so slowly in secondary clouds, initially convey the reminiscent feeling of the sheer superiority of the nature we know. But the artist's mountains do not exhaust themselves from that representational reality, but from artistic abstraction. His works show a utopia, worked out of structure and color. The glazed layers of paint create a deep pictorial space that almost automatically gives rise to an illusory ideal landscape, which aptly captures the atmosphere of the stone giants.
The matinee will take place on 29.01.23 from 11 am to 2 pm in the Nuremberg Gallery. Hans-Peter Miksch will introduce the exhibition. We look forward to see you.
