Established in 1990, Brian Gross Fine Art specializes in contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, and works on paper. It has represented a diversity of artists, ranging from strong emerging talent to established modern masters and estates.
After 33 years of mounting an exhibition program in its Union Square and Potrero district galleries in San Francisco, Brian Gross Fine Art relocated to Santa Fe, NM in 2023, and has transitioned to online exhibitions, private dealing and offerings of its artists and artist estates. It continues to work with public and private collections.
Prior to BGFA, Brian Gross was a partner in Fuller Gross Gallery, 1986–90, a premier San Francisco showcase for contemporary art. Bay Area legends Robert Arneson, Roy De Forest and Robert Hudson were an integral part of that program, and BGFA continues its involvement with the work of those artists. Los Angeles artists Peter Alexander, Tony Berlant and Ed Moses have all been featured artists.
The new iteration of Brian Gross Fine Art allows greater flexibility in our ongoing work with artists, collectors, and institutions.
