A review of the exhibition "Generations" held in the summer of 2015 at Bryan Memorial Gallery. The show presented the works of thirty contemporary artists who paint in a representational way. Each guest artist also arranged the loan of a painting by one of their teachers and by one of their own students. The eight-seven works in the show offered testimony to the groundwork laid by the original teacher, enhanced by the passage of time through the works of the next generation of emerging artists.
