The gallery’s collection signposts key movements in the art world. This will be the first time Corridor Contemporary will take part in Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary and we are delighted to be exhibiting artworks by the most incredible contemporary artists. This year’s exhibition will include the following artists: Hebru Brantley, George Condo, Taher Jaoui, Kenny Scharf, Johnson Eziefula, KAWS, Alex Katz, Alec DeMarco, and Nathan Paddison. Our exhibition will continue Corridor Contemporary’s natural line of action and will highlight both young emerging artists alongside established and recognized artists. We would like to highlight the young emerging artists as the focus of our exhibition. Artists such as the Tunisian French artist Taher Jaoui, who will, following his last solo show at Corridor Contemporary “Welcome to the JUNGLE,” be exhibited with his abstract compositions combining mathematical signs referring to his personal history of engineering studies. Next in line is Alec DeMarco, an American artist, who originally studied to be a tattoo artist in Tokyo, Japan. DeMarco brings his experience from the tattoo world into his canvases and creates abstract and colorful compositions, many of his works have Japanese elements drawn from his time living in Tokyo. Last but not least, Corridor Contemporary will also exhibit an exciting new addition to our gallery, the promising Australian artist Nathan Paddison. His paintings are emotional, primal, and vivid of a difficult past. Expressionistic discourse is formed by gestural signs and indistinct language in his paintings. Paddison’s bold line and palette approach complement the physicality and urgency with which he works.
