David Krut Workshop, a dedicated intaglio and relief print workshop was established in Johannesburg in 2002 and has recently established larger facilities at Arts on Main, an exciting new cultural hub in the inner city of Johannesburg. The printers Jillian Ross and Lungi Kongisa have collaborated with internationally accomplished artists as well as emerging artists in South Africa. This year we will feature Universal Archive (Parts 24 - 37), a new series of linocuts by William Kentridge, along with drypoints and etchings by Diane Victor who was recently in New York for her second solo show at David Krut Projects. The series of more than 50 Universal Archive linocuts by Kentridge will be on view at David Krut Projects, NY, from Oct 30 - Dec 17. Christopher Cozier and Kate McCrickard will have solo shows in 2013.
