David Zwirner is pleased to be participating in the twentieth anniversary edition of Frieze London, and Frieze Sculpture, this October.

At Frieze London, the gallery will display new work by Shio Kusaka, Josh Smith, Rose Wylie, and Portia Zvavahera. The booth will have a section dedicated to the work of Frank Walter, who will concurrently be the subject of a monographic exhibition at the Garden Museum in London. David Zwirner will also debut work by Katherine Bernhardt, Marcel Dzama, Oscar Murillo, Bridget Riley, Thomas Ruff, Wolfgang Tillmans, Luc Tuymans, and Lisa Yuskavage, along with significant works by Marlene Dumas, Gerhard Richter, and Al Taylor.

At Frieze Sculpture in Regent's Park, the gallery will present Josh Smith's largest sculpture to date, Friend, 2023. In this bronze work, Smith has transposed a Grim Reaper, a subject Smith has frequently explored in his paintings, into an ominous towering figure over 2 metres tall. A smaller version of the sculpture, Little Friend, 2023, will be on view at the David Zwirner booth at Frieze London. Frieze Sculpture opened on 20 September, and will be on view until 29 October.
