Pam Sheehan’s work has been shown at Davis & Langdale Company since 1999. The forthcoming exhibition will consist of approximately 20 seascape paintings, painted within the past year.
Sheehan’s paintings are generally small in scale. Her paintings are done on-site, depicting the majestic coastline of northern California and the beaches of New Jersey. Sheehan states “As a landscape painter, I work outdoors because I like the direct experience of seeing and feeling the shifts in light and weather.”
Sheehan earned a M.F.A. from Lehman College, City University of New York, and a B.F.A. from Parsons School of Design in New York City. She also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy in Philadelphia, and the New York Academy of Art. Her work has been included in many group exhibitions in the New York area as well as solo exhibitions at Paul Thiebaud Gallery, San Francisco and Brickwalk Books and Fine Art, West Hartford, Connecticut.
