Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

1927

Went to Paris, studying where he could, including Academie Julian, The Academie Colarossi, the Ecole de la Grande Chaumiere, and then he found Andre L'Hote, who experimented with presenting space without perspective

1929

Returned to America because his scholarship money was about gone

1931

Married Sally Abrams and began designing store fronts for his father-in-law who was a glass maker

1950

Elected as president of the Elmira Art Club

1966

Sold the Art Shop and moved to Philadelphia

1981

Died August 28th in Sarasota, Florida
