Emanuela Campoli’s program is focused on artists who explore the historical and material condition of their medium. The gallery first introduced a generation of artists based in the United States and Europe, cultivating their early exposure, and establishing critical and institutional representation here. Activating an ongoing conversation between European and American art around the conventions of pictorial, sculptural, and photographic representation, the gallery’s artists are critically engaged with notions of authorship and the role of the artist.
