For Art Basel 2018, Fraenkel Gallery will be exhibiting important works by Diane Arbus (Naked man being a woman, N.Y.C. 1968), Bernd & Hilla Becher (a nine-part typology of Water Towers from 1988), and a five-part seascape panorama by Robert Adams from 1991. Among the other artists to be exhibited this year are Christian Marclay, Peter Hujar (his iconic portrait of Susan Sontag from 1975), Richard Avedon, Katy Grannan, and a 2003 self-portrait by Hiroshi Sugimoto.
