This exhibition features a selection of fresco paintings by the late Marcia Myers and includes several never-before-seen works on paper. An ardent technician, Myers spent years mastering the art of fresco painting. The luscious pigments found in her frescoes recall the ancient ruins of Pompeii and beloved Italian Renaissance murals of centuries past.
A student of Minimal and Process art, Jane Rosen strikes a balance between the materials she uses and the ways in which they come together. Rosen’s elegant sculptural forms reflect her direct perception of nature, specifically birds and how and why they act the way they do.
