August closed for Summer holidays
The objective of this exhibition is:
• A tribute to the publisher Joaquim Gelabertó.
• Highlight the importance of the graphic work in its technical variants.
The Edicions Bertó (1979-2000) were possible thanks to the idea and impulse of Joaquim Gelabertó Vilagran (1943-2001), great enthusiast for the original graphic work. He established a deep relationship and collaboration with the artists who participated in his project. Each work was considered with maximum rigor and inventiveness:
1/ Handmade papers and industrial papers (like the Arches) with different weights and textures.
2/ Different printing techniques applied to each paper.
3/ Painting interventions before and after the editions.
