75 years ago, ZERO founders Otto Piene and Heinz Mack turned the art world's clock back to zero. Like hardly any other artistic movement, ZERO has remained alive to this day and has influenced countless artists from all over the world in their work, who today unite in the NEW ZERO movement.
How important this younger art movement is, is currently shown by the auction house Christie's. The NEW ZERO artist Bernd Caspar Dietrich will be presented to international collectors for the first time in Amsterdam in the coming weeks. This is an appreciation that is granted to only a few contemporary artists.
On the occasion of the ZERO anniversary, Galerie Kellermann will present selected recent and older works by Günther Uecker, Otto Piene, Heinz Mack, Adolf Luther, Victor Bonato, Rupprecht Geiger and Victor Vasarely. In addition, we show works of the NEW ZERO as well as light artists of the next generation: Bernd Caspar Dietrich, Sascha Nordmeyer, Yoshiyuki Miura, Stephan Marienfeld, Reiner Seliger, Babak Saed, Bardula, David Speybrouck, Marian Bijlenga, Robbert de Goede, Stephi Friedrich, Werner Bitzigeio and Kurt Grimm.
