In cooperation with Galerie Lelong & Co. (Paris), we are pleased to show the work of Fabienne Verdier, Jean-Baptiste Huynh as well as Kiki Smith in Munich this fall. As part of VARIOUS OTHERS, the works of the three guest artists will be shown alongside positions from Galerie Klüser, including Tony Cragg, Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Sean Scully, Constantin Luser and Jorinde Voigt. All have in common the color blue.

Blue has not only fascinated and engaged artists for centuries, but is also omnipresent beyond art – starting with the sky that spreads out above us. Interestingly it is precisely the blue that emerges as an optical phenomenon from the sheer infinite number of tiny molecules that is also the color that is charged with emotions and longings or has associative connotations; similar to the sea, the horizon or the blue hour. Is it perhaps due to this connection between physical and emotional experience, sensual and visual perception, that draws people to this color even beyond the immediate experience?

The exhibition invites to explore the color blue and its many facets in a selection of cross-genre works.

With works by Tony Cragg, Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Sean Scully, Jean-Baptiste Huynh, Constantin Luser, Kiki Smith, Milen Till, Fabienne Verdier, Jorinde Voigt, Andy Warhol, and Natalia Załuska, among others.
