Gallery Ludorff in Düsseldorf was founded in 1975 and focuses on German Impressionism and Expressionism, as well as Post-War abstraction and selected Contemporary artists. Today, Gallery Ludorff is recognized as one of the leading international galleries in these fields. For Rainer M. Ludorff, who was born in 1944, being an art dealer means having a profession wholeheartedly. While studying economics, he initiated his collection of art. Being a collector in the first stage taught him the very guideline of successful art dealing: Only the quality of an artwork counts. The ones who want to investigate German art history of the 20th century, should visit our show room at the renowned Königsallee in Duesseldorf or should visit us at one of the art fairs attended by us. Since 1975, we have exhibited in international art fairs such as Art Basel, Art Cologne, WKM in Cologne, and the Kunst-Messe in Munich. As our client base is growing, in both Germany and the international field, we plan to strengthen our presence in international art fairs.
As we appreciate direct and personal contact with our clients, we would feel pleased to welcome you in our gallery or at one of the art fairs attended by us. Please do not hesitate to contact us, as we are looking forward to fulfilling your very personal needs.
