Colour and paint are essential to Christopher Lehmpfuhl’s art. His works fascinate us with their expressive colours and through the sculptural qualities of the oil paint that, in some places, is applied in layers several centimetres thick. The artist unlocks a pictorial cosmos whose tactile qualities offer a sensuous experience for beholders. Whether these are large-scale landscapes in the colours of the different seasons, views of cities emphasising their particular architecture through the impasto application of paint, or small pictures representing a detail view full of powerful colours, the artist who was born in 1972 knows how to mesmerize his audience. What is more, his prints and watercolours are additional proof of his sense of colour and the atmospheres of light.  

From August 25 to October 7, our exhibition will showcase a diverse and fascinating range of Christopher Lehmpfuhl's Œuvre with more than 50 works. The exhibition opening will take place on August 24 at 7 pm. We are looking forward to you visit.
