Founded in 2003, Galerie Schimming is dedicated to modern contemporary art and maintains close contact with up-and-coming as well as established German and international artists. In addition to exhibitions by artists who have already started, the gallery opens its rooms to promising young talents once or twice a year. Through these "Young Art" exhibitions, several young artists have already been successfully launched.
The gallery program focuses on different positions in the field of contemporary painting from the New Leipzig School to Pop Art. The gallery advises on the purchase of works of art and on building up collections.
In addition to the gallery, we offer all interested art collectors and art lovers varied insights into the art scene through a variety of events with our art club in Hamburg.
