CHARITY FOR THE REFUGEES

Mirabellplatz 2 Salzburg, 5020, Austria Saturday, November 21, 2015–Saturday, January 16, 2016 Opening Reception: Saturday, November 21, 2015, Noon–2 p.m.

Parallel to the LEUCHTSCHRIFT project a charity exhibition will be held in support of refugee aid in Salzburg.
Deeply moved by the daily images of human distress, brought to our attention by the thousands of asylum-seekers, we would like to make a contribution to refugee aid in Salzburg. Carefully selected artworks will be offered for sale by Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. The entire proceeds will be donated to a refugee aid foundation headed by Doraja Eberle.
The charity exhibition includes prints, paintings and sculptures by internationally renowned artists such as Siegfried Anzinger, Stephan Balkenhol, Georg Baselitz, Joseph Beuys, Sylvie Fleury, Lori Hersberger, Christian Hutzinger, Anselm Kiefer, Elke Silvia Krystufek, Bernhard Martin, Arnulf Rainer, Gerwald Rockenschaub, Hubert Scheibl, Andreas Slominski, Manfred Wakolbinger and Erwin Wurm.
