Wir freuen uns, Ihnen anknüpfend an unsere große Ausstellung der Nudes und Still lifes von 2006 nun eine umfassende Ausstellung der Landschaften Tom Wesselmanns präsentieren zu können. Seine Stahlschnitte belegen nicht nur die Wiederbelebung der amerikanischen Tradition der Landschaftsdarstellung sondern nehmen auch durch das moderne Material und die innovative Kombination von Zeichnung-Gemälde-Skulptur eine Sonderstellung in der Kunst ein.

Zur Ausstellung erscheint ein umfänglicher Katalog.

We are happy to present a comprehensive selection of Tom Wesselmann's landscapes following our 2006 exhibition of nudes and still lifes. His steelcuts not only document the revival of the American tradition of landscape depiction but also earn an exceptional position in art by using modern materials and an innovative combination of drawing - painting - sculpture.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue.
