For this third exhibition at Gallery Wendi Norris, Emotional Violence, Julio César Morales, will debut his latest video as well as a new series of paintings, a photographic installation, and a wooden sculpture.

Morales employs multifarious media to illuminate the poetic in the political, particularly surrounding issues of displacement, migration and hidden economies. His approach, involving extensive research, is that of an anthropologist and a social historian. For over a decade he has collected and archived images and anecdotes from the Internet and printed press that now surface in these new works.
