Glenn and Sandy Green started their original gallery in Phoenix, Arizona in 1966 as adjunct to their custom framing business. Through the years they have been called “a commanding presence in the Scottsdale and Santa Fe art community.” TREND Magazine stated the following: “Widely recognized as among the very best at spotting world-class talent, Glenn Green Galleries has been committed to developing the careers of promising artists for decades. With a penchant for art that speaks on many levels, that touches the human core and conveys a sense of universal oneness, founders Glenn and Sandy Green, and their daughter Kerry, dedicate themselves to seeing the powerful expressions of their artists be known and enjoyed internationally.”
Today they have two locations: at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona where their artists display throughout the grounds and interiors of this famous 250 acre destination and in Tesuque, New Mexico where they have an expansive 5 1/2 acre sculpture garden and charming gallery, located five miles north of Santa Fe.
American artists and fellow creators from Great Britian, France, Japan, Canada, Vietnam, New Zealand, Argentina and Panama are part of the gallery’s impressive contemporary lineup. Sculptors include Allan Houser, Eduardo Oropeza, John Reeves, Jeffrey Maron, Malcolm Susman, Khang Pham-New, Melanie Yazzie, Noelle Jakeman and Alexander Brown. Painters are John Hogan, Harriet Johns, Kenji Yoshida and Melanie Yazzie.
