We are delighted to announce our forthcoming exhibition of paintings, water colours and sculptures by the multi-talented Jim Moir b.1959 (aka Vic Reeves). The show is titled; 'See Them Richards?' and runs from 14 - 28 May 2022. The artist will attend an opening reception on Friday 13 May from 6-8pm. The exhibition opening coincides with the Central night of London Gallery Weekend 2022.
The show will feature paintings of British wild birds. "I guess the love of birds has never left me. We put some on our website and people seemed to like them. And then people started buying them which is a big incentive.”

Jim's inspirations are wide ranging, encompassing celebrity, nature, architecture and peculiar fantasy assemblages. The product of a constantly creative mind, Moir says of his art;   "There are elements of humour in what I do. In some of them there's no humour. look at my birds, that's just my passion coming through. Not everything has to be comedy… I like to mess about. I like to go from one area to another. I like that. I don't think you should be restricted, because then it becomes 'career-based'. I just wake up with different thoughts.”
