1902
Born in Paris. Studies in the Lycée Janson de Sailly.
1920
Enters Academie Ranson. Influenced by the Nabis group: Edouard VUILLARD, Maurice DENIS.
1925
First exhibition in Gallery Pierre.
1926
Exhibition in Gallery Drouet with Leonid BERMAN and Pavel TCHELITCHEW, called the “Neo-Humanist” group.
1930
End of the group. Christian BERARD starts his brilliant career as designer for theatrical scenery and costumes.
1932
Works with Jean-Michel FRANK, painting screens, wood-work, drawing projects for carpets.
1949
He dies suddenly on the stage of the Théâtre de Marigny.
