An examination of the versatility and enduring legacy of Swiss avant-garde master, Sophie Taeuber-Arp (1889 – 1943), this exhibition juxtaposes examples from her oeuvre with new and existing work made by artists Leonor Antunes, Ellen Lesperance and Nicolas Party. Their productions—including sculpture, environments, works on paper and textile—will address and underscore the exemplary diversity and radical interdisciplinarity of Taeuber-Arp’s practice, as she embraced a range of styles, techniques and media that encompassed painting, sculpture, design, architecture and performance.
