From the 1st of November to the 30th of November, the team at Hidden Gallery in Bath are exhibiting a stunning collection of original artworks exploring the relationship between geometry and art. This collection includes hand-signed, limited edition prints by leading artists such as Frank Stella, Bridget Riley, Josef Albers, Damien Hirst and many more!

Key art movements in Modern and Contemporary art have been characterised by a preoccupation with geometry. From Op Art’s mathematically precise illusions to Minimalism’s formal concerns, geometry has been at the root of many essential artworks.  Through exploring geometry within art, major artists were able to investigate an infinite range of visual effects. Whether it’s Bridget Riley’s mind-bending compositions or Frank Stella's concentric squares, geometric art facilitates a deep engagement with visual, aesthetic, and human experience.

Come and see this extraordinary collection of original and hand-signed pieces at Hidden's Bath gallery. Highlights include a gorgeous lithograph by Alexander Calder from 1967 (boasting excellent condition - a rarity for many Calder prints) and a superb Bridget Riley screenprint featuring her iconic Egyptian palette and signature vertical stripe.

For the first time ever, Hidden are proud to hold a stunning collection of original screenprints by Piet Mondrian. The Dutch painter is widely regarded as one of the most significant artists of the last century, pioneering abstraction with his visually striking, inimitable compositions. The artist believed that only through limiting oneself to the most essential elements of painting, colour, and line form, can an artist represent the universe and human experience at its most essential state.

His highly coveted screenprint portfolio ‘A Portfolio of 10 Paintings’ features some of the artist’s most iconic paintings. These extraordinary acquisitions have just joined Hidden's collection and will debut on the 17th November in Bath especially for ‘The Right Angles’.

Hidden's Bath gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday (10am - 5pm). For more information, email [email protected] or call 01225 251005.

Hidden's prices include in-house conservation framing, fully insured shipping within the UK, and a Certificate of Authenticity. Get in touch today to avoid missing out.
