Huxley-Parlour Gallery was founded in London in 2010. The gallery’s vibrant exhibition programme focuses on artists who have played a significant role in the History of Art, and those who continue to shape the field in the present day.  Formerly Beetles+Huxley, the gallery spent eight years as one of London's leading photographic galleries. During that time, the gallery presented exhibitions by leading artists including Alec Soth, Joel Sternfeld, Valérie Belin, Cecil Beaton, Edward Weston, Joel Meyerowitz, Sebastião Salgado, Steve McCurry, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Berenice Abbott, Bill Brandt, Vivian Maier and Ruud van Empel. In late 2018, the gallery expanded both its exhibition space and its curatorial approach to incorporate other mediums into its exhibition programme. Building on its strong foundations in photography, the gallery is now dedicated to presenting a dynamic programme of contemporary and modern photography, painting and sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries. Based in a beautiful, two-floor exhibition space in Mayfair designed by AAVA architects, Huxley-Parlour Gallery represents over 20 influential artists and estates, holds upwards of twelve exhibitions per year, and participates in leading international art fairs.  The gallery is popular amongst collectors for both its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and its engaging, educational approach. Huxley-Parlour Gallery is committed to providing an enjoyable and stimulating platform for art, regularly publishing exhibition catalogues and running an engaging educational programme that includes curator-led museum tours, artist-interviews and lectures. Alongside its exhibition programme, the gallery also trades significantly on the secondary market, maintaining a wide range of stock by leading artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The gallery is a member of The Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD) as well as the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD).
