Art Galleries Association Singapore (AGAS) is proud to present its second annual exhibition, Edition(ed), held at Artspace@Helutrans from 17 to 20 July. This year’s exhibition sees 23 participating galleries featuring over 70 works ranging from photographs to prints and sculptures to digital works by more than 30 artists. The works will be for sale and prices range between $900 and $83,000. The friendly characteristics of multiples and editions make this form of art very popular among budding collectors, but it has also found its way into prestigious museum collections around the world.

The exhibition’s focus on editioned works is an opportunity for collectors, art enthusiasts and students to discover the history and techniques of different mediums. It also plays host to a ‘Saturday Matinee’ programme, held on 19 July from 2 to 5 pm. There will be an exhibition walkthrough followed by a panel discussion on the history and currency of editions, from its origins in printmaking to new developments in contemporary practices.
