Ingleby Gallery was established in Edinburgh in 1998, and maintains an ambitious program of exhibitions and off-site projects, attracting Contemporary artists of international standing to exhibit in Scotland—often for the first time—and playing an important role, alongside key galleries and institutions, in developing a Scottish audience for Contemporary Art. Having forged strong relationships with some of the most established artists of recent generations, we are also increasingly able to support and represent younger artists currently emerging both in Scotland and internationally. The gallery is also committed to presenting a contextual view of Contemporary Art practice by including the works of Modern masters and anonymous artists of antiquity within our program.
