Jerald Melberg Gallery proudly presents new abstract paintings by gallery artist Katherine Boxall.  Based in Austin, Texas, the Canadian native holds a MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and a BFA from Queen's University at Kingston.  

Incorporating a mix of materials such as acrylic, spray paint, pastel and oil, Boxall creates lush, expressive paintings that exude conviction, energy and knowledgeable composition.  

Time & Place features new paintings created during the time Boxall spent between her studio in Austin, Texas, and her summer studio in New York City.

The gallery is also pleased to announce that Couture Knots, representing some of the world’s most exclusive rug lines, in collaboration with the gallery and Katherine, will debut a hand knotted rug patterned after one of her paintings at the exhibition opening.  

This is the artist’s third solo exhibition with the gallery.
