For over a quarter century, Bill Lowe Gallery has remained committed to the profoundly spiritual nature of visual language and the role it plays in affecting paradigm shifts on a personal and societal level. It is with this mandate Bill Lowe Gallery is pleased to the present a multi-exhibition presentation, Beauty: A Cause. This exhibition is an examination of the enduring artistic concerns with the transcendent and the exalted, the sublime, and the divine promise of beauty, at the Hampton’s Fine Art Fair 2021. Once an unfettered principle guiding the manifestation of the greatest wonders in the history of mankind, beauty, in its most sacred effect has since, been imagined - superficial. This exhibition presents the antidote.
The revelations and complexities of early-twenty first century life have calls forth profound feelings of solitude and anxiety. Society is bombarded daily with existential threats of death from gun violence, COVID-19 and other epidemics, famine, displacement, immigration, poverty, addiction and mental illness – to the point that many have become numb; not only because of indifference, but because the overflow of information through circuit news and social media rarely capture the full story. In an effort to heal collectively, the world has come together to rally against disenfranchisement with empathy, discrimination with justice and disinformation with truth
