Bill Lowe Gallery has updated its renowned curatorial initiative at Buckhead's most historic event venue, The Estate. This new exhibition advances our interest in presenting how exceptional contemporary works of art can beautifully co-habitate with transitional and classical elements in a historic residence.
An icon of grace and elegance, The Estate transports the visitor to an experience of civility and celebration. This magnificent authentic antebellum mansion offers the charm and allure of the era in which it was built. Now updated and modernized, it proudly stands in the heart of Buckhead, the epicenter of Atlanta's most prestigious business and retail activity.
Built in 1797 in Wilkes County, GA., it was very carefully moved brick by brick and rebuilt on Piedmont Road where it resides today, in the midst of a three acre oasis of gardens and massive old trees. Under the attention and care of Tony Conway, CEO and Founder, and his team of talent at Legendary Events, The Estate was re-opened in mid-2012 and redecorated in a modern fashion that blends perfectly with the warmth and splendor of a Southern estate home. The recently added Grand Ballroom amplifies a renovation that meticulously cared for every detail and adds another level of grandeur to any wedding or special event - corporate or private.Bill Lowe Gallery has curated a collection of significant artwork featuring artists from around the world to reflect the dynamic spirit of the South's Queen City and its roots in history. The collection includes premier works by artists from Atlanta and across the country coupled with works by artists from France, Sicily, Portugal, India, Mozambique, and a multitude of other countries. Most of the pieces contained in this exhibition have received critical and curatorial acclaim as well as vibrant collector embrace.
